Hello, We are a mixed family french and chinese. After 13 years of living and renovating the old court yard in the heart of Beijing, we decided to move our muntain house which we built 10 years ago, a place previously served as an escape and break from a metropol city of 25 million fulfilled with concrete building. It's a life change decision as it's not just move of 1 hour drive distance from downtown, but whole lifestyle sharping with material less, living in the nature and create the relationship with nature, and homeschooling of two kids. Thomas who is turning 8 years old next year and Anna 5. We are searching for someone who has skills of teaching, bio farming or any kinds of hand craft ideally, the person would be interested to take an important role to develop the mountain resort/meditation/learning space project. We already renovated a space of 1500 M2 where we live and host events such as detoxing, music, art and meditation for phsical or mental wellbeing, we plan to expand our spaces in the same village. The goal is to create a community and host a group of people with skills (art, engeneer, farming) to create village. We are looking for someone serious, share the same value of creation space, explore the occasion to learn self better and grow through the experiences of establishing the relationship with nature, sorroundings and him/herself. The mother is working full time as the vice general manger of a public company and has a passion for music and art. The grandparents run their own art studio and rarely stays in the house. We wish to give you an immersive cultural experience during your stay with us but will fully respect your privacy and free time (which is most of the time :)
Dear au pair: Welcome to our home and be a member of our family, also be a friend of us. I’m your future host mom Tina. I hope we can have more pleasant time and make improvements through mutual learning and communication over each other’s culture. I do some administrative job in a university and I like movies and painting. My husband works in a hotel. He seldom stays at home and he likes water sports. My boy names Roy of 6 years old. He enjoys communicating with friends and has a wide range of hobbies. But he seems undisciplined sometimes. He can speak simple English words and sentences used in daily life. Roy now is in a kindergarten and will enter elementary school in Sep. Therefore, at daytimes of weekdays, nobody is at home. Now my mother lives with us to babysit Roy. If you join us, I prefer to send her back home to unload her pressure. There is also a housekeeper to do some housework, but she does not live with us. I am afraid that my parents would spoil Roy. So I hope you can spare more time to play games with Roy, tell him stories, sing, dance or play piano. We don't need you to do housework. Your main task is to be with Roy and cultivate his interests while learning English. I hope with you help he can become polite, patient and brave. Meanwhile I'd love to learn some English. And I can teach you Chinese and share with you Chinese culture. Roy's life is arranged regularly. He gets up before 7am, goes to school at 7:30am, finishes classes at 4:30pm and sleeps at 9pm. At weekends, life is much more random. What about your timetables? I really hope that you can have plenty of time to get along with him. We live in Changning District in Shanghai. Life here is vey convenient . We can provide you a single room and wifi. We can share Chinese food if you like ,and we wiil offer fruits and snacks to you. If you don’t like Chinese food ,you can cook what you want and you will buy you the materials.
